Young people are the world's richest global resource, yet the most underdeveloped and underrepresented. The world has big problems that require fresh imaginations to solve these pressing issues. In 2015, 193 of 195 countries agreed to a set of goals set forth by the United Nations known as Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to achieve by 2030. The Island17 Metaverse is the framework to find, fund, and launch the best ideas on the planet, driven by youth.

Each of the SDGs is a moonshot goal for humanity, and humanity can’t achieve moonshot goals without the best imaginations. Enter youth under 30, the digital natives of our time. We are creating a world where the ideas and imaginations of youth are championed and implemented in all sectors across the globe.

Island17 uses the power of technology, entrepreneurship, gaming and youth-centered design to find innovative solutions in their local communities and share ideas and collaborate on a global scale in the Island17 Metaverse to address in real-time the biggest challenges facing our world as outlined in the UN’s SDGs.

Island17 umožňuje mladým ľuďom vo veku 7 až 27 rokov, aby vložili svoju vášeň, kreativitu a energiu do práce na zlepšovaní svojich komunít prostredníctvom sociálnych aktivít, ktoré riešia jeden zo 17 cieľov udržateľného rozvoja OSN budovaním ekosystému sociálneho podnikania (centrá na akceleráciu, učebné osnovy, mentori, digitálna platforma /nástroje a mikropôžičky) navrhnuté špeciálne pre mladých ľudí na riešenie ekonomických a environmentálnych problémov v ich komunitách a na celom svete.
